Frequently Asked Questions

Answers before your first step.

A few of the questions people ask most. Don’t see yours? Reach out anytime.

Do you offer in-person or online sessions?

Therapy Clips provides secure virtual (telehealth) sessions to teens and adults throughout Florida, so you can meet from wherever you feel most comfortable.

Do you work with teenagers?

Yes. I work with adolescents ages 12 and up, as well as adults. For a teen, the first step usually includes a parent or guardian, and sessions are held by secure telehealth from the comfort of home. Reach out and we can talk through whether it’s a good fit.

Do you accept insurance and Medicare?

Yes. We accept insurance, including Medicare, and also offer self-pay options. Coverage varies by plan — see Insurance & Fees for how to verify your benefits.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is a relaxed conversation about what brought you in, what you’d like to change, and what pace feels safe. You don’t need to know where to begin. Learn more on What to Expect.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can book securely through our client portal anytime. If the portal doesn’t open, email admin@therapyclips.com or call (786) 833-6632.

What is your cancellation or missed appointment policy?

Life happens, so I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Because your time is reserved just for you, late cancellations (less than 24 hours) and missed appointments may be charged the full session fee — for example, $130 for an individual session. Insurance does not reimburse missed appointments, so this fee is your responsibility. See Insurance & Fees for details.

What if I’m out-of-network?

We can provide a superbill — an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

What issues do you work with?

Anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and burnout, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief, and questions of meaning and spiritual growth, among others. See Services.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is protected by law. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your information is handled.

What if I’m in crisis?

This website is not for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger, call 911, or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. See Resources.
